The initial inspiration for the project Colour came from shells. I photographed shells up close to capture their complexity and beauty and from this, I created drawings using bleach, coloured  pencil and fineliner. I then created colour pallets that reflected my theme of shells while also keeping the colour wheel in mind, to ensure the colours I chose either complemented each other or intentially contrasted. I experimented with printing using different surfaces to create textures, using the printing, I created collagues that expressed the fun nature of the colours created. Then, I looked at an artist who works with colour, Atelier Bingo, and created designs inspired by them. I created some of the designs by hand and some digitally, then I learnt how to create mockups with these designs to showcase the designs on products.
